V-Day is a global movement to end violence against women & girls. HBO gave Debbie & her Mom the unique opportunity to be in the tv movie, The Vagina Monologues, interviewed by Eve Ensler.
During moments of shared intimacies, they fell in love with Eve, her mission of eliminating violence & corresponding charity V-Day! Debbie’s been on the V-train ever since, acting in several runs of The Vagina Monologues, including producing & artistic direction, while raising funds & awareness.

KIDSAVE’S mission is to ensure that no orphan or foster child is forgotten & every child grows up in a family or with a connection to a stable adult with love & hope for a successful future.
KIDSAVE is the organization responsible for connecting Debbie & Adam with their beautiful daughter, Jenniffer! They still say their first day volunteering at KIDSAVE was the best day of their lives.

RFS’s mission is to educate & empower children living in extreme poverty, providing them with the right to an education & knowledge. They’re able to attend a boarding school (receiving a bed, uniform, meals, clean water, medical care, education & safety).
Adam, Debbie & her Dad got to know RFS while in Kenya, Africa thanks to the graciousness of Founder, Connie Nielsen & President, Lynn Younglove.

HNP provides basic services (clean water, sanitation & energy) & empowerment services (business skills training, microcredit, a wifi, health kiosk & a green marketplace) to slums around the world through the creation of replicable, self-sustaining Town Centers.
These services are designed to be synergistic, creating economic growth while providing sufficient income for Town Centers to maintain & manage themselves as a co-op structure.
Adam, Debbie & her Dad had the honor & adventure of a lifetime experiencing Kibera’s Town Centre in Nairobi, Kenya & its lovely people, thanks to President, Lynn Younglove & Founder, Connie Nielsen.

Through a variety of programs, each with the aim of fostering a healthier social, physical & mental environment for youth in the Kibera slums, KH works to empower youth to realize their full potential.
There was nothing like the feeling Adam, Debbie & her Dad got when they hand delivered school supplies to the John Adoli School & getting to know the grateful students!! Each piece of paper, pen or pencil is sacred to these kids!

Crescent Cove offers care & support to children & young adults with a shortened life-expectancy & their families who love them. The Crescent Cove Respite & Hospice Home for Kids is a joyful home-away-from home for kids with life-threatening conditions, where each moment is embraced & celebrated.
All services & stays at Crescent Cove to kids & families are at cost thanks to donors who make this possible.
An inspiration of Crescent Cove is angel warrior Maryah Tift. Adam’s friendship with Maryah’s parents, Zach Tift & Rachel Perez, began in high school when the four lived together following her birth!

3CL is a non-profit arts organization with the mission of creating art while giving back to the community.
3 girls graduating NYC’s William Esper Acting Studio had a vision of producing shows w/proceeds benefiting corresponding charities (hence deemed “crazy!”). Debbie is Co-Founder/ Artistic Director. Adam is ceremoniously a Crazy Lady by proxy.

Cambodian School Project provides education & support to poor, rural Cambodian girls & boys. Students are provided with uniforms, school supplies, access to clean water & a quality education. Debbie & her Dad visited JHP Skola Technical School in Siem Reap & haven’t stopped dancing Khmer style since (trying!)!
Co-founded by family friend Roger Garms (who introduced Debbie’s parents 50+ yrs ago!), the foundation is led by the inspirational Sarith Ou, among others!
